Subject: Letter to the London Police which was delivered but not received ???

Date: Tue, 04 Mar 2003 17:05:01 +0000

To: Mr Gemelli (European Parliament Chairman of Committee on Petitions)
Your reference: Petition 809/2001

Dear Mr Gemelli,

Following months of very tiresome and expensive effort, I recently received evidence from the UK Royal Mail service that the letter connected with political, legal, and corporate corruption which I sent to the London Metropolitan Police Service on October 26th 2002 was in fact successfully delivered to them at New Scotland Yard on October 28th 2002.

Very bizarrely (in my view) the London Metropolitan Police Service have informed me by e-mail on a number of occasions since October 28th 2002 that they had "no record of the letter". Consequently, and quite avoidably, I have also wasted a lot of time and money seeking compensation for loss of the letter in question which contained two CD ROMs, and which was insured for consequential loss of £10,000.

Additional information regarding the above matter can be found at the following Internet page address:
http://www.finnachta.com/Royal_Mail_proof_of_delivery_.htm

As I believe that behaviour of the kind outlined above is symptomatic of political, legal, and corporate corruption, I would be very grateful if you would please include this piece of additional evidence of rampant corruption by people holding high office with the other evidence I have already related to you in connection with Petition 809/2001.

I trust you will ensure that the above matter is thoroughly investigated under the terms of Petition 809/2001.

I would be very grateful if you would please confirm receipt of this e-mail by replying to the following two e-mail addresses please:
wfinnerty@eircom.net and billyfinnerty1945@hotmail.com

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that as a direct result of the unexpectedly long time it is taking to process the complaints I have earlier lodged under Petition 809/2001, I am now receiving medical treatment for reactive depression. For evidence of this please see Internet page address:
http://www.finnachta.com/Medical_Statement_.htm

As I trust you will understand, I have throughout been very conscious of the assurance given in Article 41, Item 1 of the CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION that my petition affairs would be dealt with "within a reasonable time by the institutions". Unfortunately, it seems to me that this assurance is not being met: and hence the "reactive depression" I am now receiving medical treatment for.

Sincerely,

Mr William Finnerty.
